On February 17, 2024, the Environmental Health Department of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly organized a community clean-up exercise at Afutu Park and Lantei.
The initiative, aimed at promoting environmental hygiene and public health, brought together local residents and stakeholders in a collective effort to beautify the area and address sanitation challenges.
Participants cleared debris, desilted drains, and swept public spaces, demonstrating the Assembly’s commitment to fostering a cleaner and healthier environment. The event also served as an opportunity to educate the public on proper waste disposal practices and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings.
This clean-up exercise is part of the Assembly’s broader campaign to ensure sustainable sanitation and improved quality of life for all residents.
