Nsawam Adoagyiri MCE Cuts Sod For CHPS Compound And Classroom Block Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, Hon. Fummey Philibert Amenorpe, on Wednesday, 18th March, 2026, cut sod for the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Gidikope and a six-unit classroom block at Asiyaw.

The two projects form part of the Assembly’s efforts to improve access to quality healthcare and education across communities within the municipality.

Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Amenorpe noted that the projects are critical interventions aimed at addressing the developmental needs of the beneficiary communities and bringing essential services closer to the people.

According to the MCE, the proposed CHPS Compound at Gidikope will enhance access to quality primary healthcare services and improve health outcomes for residents in the area and surrounding communities.

He further stated that the six-unit classroom block at Asiyaw will help expand educational infrastructure and provide a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning, thereby supporting the academic development of pupils.

Hon. Amenorpe reaffirmed his commitment to implementing development projects that directly impact the lives of residents and contribute to the overall growth of the municipality.

The MCE also expressed appreciation to the President of the Republic, John Dramani Mahama, for his commitment to strengthening local governance and promoting development at the grassroots level. He further acknowledged the support and guidance of Rita Akosua Awatey, as well as the continued cooperation of residents and stakeholders within the municipality.

He assured the people of Nsawam Adoagyiri that the Assembly remains focused on delivering impactful projects that improve living standards and accelerate development across all communities.
