Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly and NYCOB Enterprise Consortium have collaborated to present the Nsawam Adoagyiri Climate Action Week, a climate change preparedness program for local governance. The event, which will be held on May 1 – 6, 2023, aims to build resilience in communities against climate change effects.

The theme for the program is “Building Resilience of our Communities Against Climate Change Effects,” and it is an initiative of NYCOB, with support from GNPC. The launch forum for the program will take place on May 1, 2023, at 8:30 am at the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Hall.

The program aims to educate local communities and policymakers on the importance of climate change preparedness and how to build resilience against the negative effects of climate change. This initiative comes at a time when climate change has become a global threat, with extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and other consequences affecting communities worldwide.

The Nsawam Adoagyiri Climate Action Week is expected to be a vital platform for local governance to take action and collaborate with communities to implement effective solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change. With the support of the NYCOB initiative, the event will contribute to efforts aimed at creating a sustainable environment for future generations.

The event is open to the public, and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.
