The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly is urging all residents to remain vigilant as persistent heavy rains continue to affect many parts of the country.

Residents, particularly those living in low-lying and flood-prone communities, are advised to take the necessary precautions to safeguard lives and property.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

โœ… Do not attempt to walk or drive through flooded roads.

โœ… Stay away from rivers, streams, and open drains during and after rainfall.

โœ… Keep children away from flood-prone areas and fast-moving water.

โœ… Drive with caution and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rains.

โœ… Do not dump refuse into gutters or drainage channels, as blocked drains contribute significantly to flooding.
