Hon. Philibert Fummey Amenorpe, Municipal Chief Executive of Nsawam Adoagyiri, has met with the newly commissioned Community Police and Fire Officers under the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) initiative.
The engagement, held on Monday morning at the Municipal Assembly, provided an opportunity for the MCE to congratulate the personnel on their successful passing out and to advise them on their new responsibilities as they begin service to the municipality and the nation.
In his remarks, Hon. Amenorpe commended the officers for their dedication throughout the training period and encouraged them to carry out their duties with discipline, integrity, and commitment to public service. He reminded them that their conduct would reflect not only on themselves but also on the image of the Youth Employment Agency and the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality.
“This is the beginning of your public service journey. Stay focused, uphold professionalism and avoid any actions that could tarnish your reputation or that of the Agency,” he advised.
He also emphasized the importance of collaboration between the YEA personnel and the security and fire services in ensuring safety, peace and order within the municipality.
The officers expressed gratitude to the MCE for his encouragement and pledged to uphold the values of discipline, hard work, and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
