On 22 June 2023, Opinion leaders in Obregyima joined forces with the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly’s Environmental Health and Sanitation Department to organize a commendable clean-up exercise in their electoral area. This collaborative effort aimed to address the pressing sanitation challenges that have been plaguing the community.
Under their core functions, the opinion leaders and the Municipal Assembly recognized the need for immediate action to improve the cleanliness and hygiene of Obregyima. With a shared commitment to promoting a clean and healthy environment, they mobilized residents for a widespread clean-up effort.
The clean-up exercise primarily focused on weeding along the highways, principal streets, and other public areas within the community.
