On Monday, 12th May 2025, the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nsawam Adoagyiri, Hon. Fummey Philibert Amenorpe (Selorm), officially assumed office and commenced his duties with a familiarization tour of the Assembly.

He was received by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo, who led him through the various departments to formally introduce him to staff members and provide insight into their operations.

The tour offered the MCE an opportunity to engage directly with staff across departments, fostering initial interactions that emphasized teamwork, shared responsibility, and a collective commitment to the development goals of the municipality.

Hon. Fummey expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and acknowledged the vital role staff play in driving the Assembly’s mandate.

“Our shared success depends on collaboration. I look forward to working closely with each of you to improve the lives of the people in this municipality,” he stated during the visit.

The familiarization exercise marks a promising start to the MCE’s administration, reinforcing his intention to build strong working relationships and promote inclusive governance from the outset.
