The member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyir, Hon Frank Annoh Dompreh, has been installed the Nkosuohene of Kwasikrom in the Nsawam Adoagyir Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The new chief, whose stool name is Nana Odoomgya Duodu Annoh Dompreh II, has been charged with the responsibility to mobilize the people to develop the area through the provision of basic social amenities.

At a ceremony at Kwesikrom a suburb of Nsawam Adoagyir which took place on Saturday, 18th January 2020, the vocal Member of Parliament took an oath of allegiance before the chief of the town, Nana Esoun Kojo, the elders and the people at a durbar organized to mark the occasion.

The occasion was graced by some Schoolmates, politicians and chiefs within the Nsawam Adoagyir Municipality and Akuapim South District respectively.

Speaking to the people, Nana Odoomgya Duodu Annoh Dompreh II asked them to assist him in initiating more developmental activities to ensure unity among the people in the area. He also added that he shall also do everything within his power as a legislator to ensure the chieftaincy institution is putting into its rightful position.

He pledged that, as part of the developmental moves he will initiate in the area, he is going to establish a multipurpose library to assist the learners in the area.
