Earlier today, 9th January 2026, new streetlights were installed at key locations across the municipality, including St. Martins SHS campus, the Kwafokrom Junction–Signboard stretch, Nsawam Government Hospital, and the Hospital Quarters.

The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Philibert Fummey Amenope Selorm, marked the start of Phase Two of the “Operation Let There Be Light” initiative, aimed at brightening streets, school environments, and hospital areas, improving visibility at night, and making communities safer and more secure for all residents.

Step by step, the MCE is lighting up Nsawam Adoagyiri, creating safer spaces for residents, students, patients, and workers alike.
