On the 30th of October, 2020, hundreds of NABCO trainers in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly gathered at St Martins Senior High School for a workshop to commemorate the second year anniversary of the scheme, which is a special initiative by the government to curb unemployment among graduates in the country.

The event which was attended by trainees in their NABCO cloth and polo shirt was graced by invited special guests such as the MCE of NAMA, Hon. Isaac Kwadjo Buabeng, Reps from the Module implementing Partners (MIPs) such as Ghana Health Service, MOFA, GES, Abi Farms, etc.
In the MCE’s address, he reiterated the government desire to help and support graduates through permanent employments and provision of seed capital to those who want to venture into entrepreneurship. He also called on trainees to give their support to retain the ruling government and ensure continuity and fulfillment of their promise to the trainees.

Other reps from the MIPs also spoke highly of the NABCO scheme and its role in curbing unemployment in the country and also praised trainees that were posted to their effort has helped to drive growth and development.
To climax the workshop, Mr. Emmanuel Babayi Babson, the Municipal Coordinator of NABCO demonstrated the portal created to facilitate the transition of trainees into career path of their choice (permanent employment, Entrepreneurship or Career focused learning), and concluded by answering various questions and concerns raised by trainees.
As part of activities to celebrate the 2nd anniversary, trainees have planned a visit and donation to THE ORTHOPEDIC TRAINING CENTRE and Party with the physically Challenged people.
