On Friday, February 16th, 2024, a significant event unfolded at the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Hall as dignitaries gathered for the election of the Presiding Member and the confirmation of the newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). Among the distinguished guests were the Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, Member of Parliament, Hon.Frank Annor Dompreh, Chiefs, Assembly Members, and representatives from various communities.

In a unanimous decision, Mr. Amos Danso, an Assembly Member for the Densuso Electoral Area, was elected as the Presiding Member of the assembly. Mr. Danso garnered an impressive 42 votes, representing 100% of the total valid votes cast.

Whiles, Hon. Emmanuel Owusu Arthur, the nominee of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipality, was confirmed by the Assembly Members to serve as the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). He also received 42 votes, constituting 100% of the 42 valid votes cast during the election, which was conducted and supervised by the Municipal Office of the Electoral Commission (EC).
