Hon. Eastern Regional Minister and MCE Undertake Working Visit to Blue Skies Ghana Ltd

In a strategic effort to bolster industrial growth and private-sector partnership, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, Hon. Philibert Fummey Amenorpe Selorm, on Thursday, 12th February 2026, received the Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, at the Blue Skies Ghana Company in Nsawam.

The working visit involved a comprehensive tour of the facility, allowing the Regional Minister to gain firsthand insight into the company’s large-scale operations. The visit served as an opportunity to celebrate the significant milestones and successes the company has achieved over the years, while also providing a platform to address the systemic constraints and challenges affecting their production capacity.

During the engagement, the Regional Minister reaffirmed the commitment of H.E. President John Dramani Mahama’s administration toward the implementation of the 24-hour Economy policy. She emphasized that this policy is specifically designed to empower high-impact industries like Blue Skies, ensuring that increased productivity leads to job creation and sustainable economic benefits that trickle down to the local economy of Nsawam and the nation at large.

Hon. Philibert Fummey Amenorpe Selorm, the MCE, expressed the Assembly’s continuous support for Blue Skies, highlighting its vital role in the socio-economic development of the municipality. He joined the Regional Minister in urging the management and staff to maintain their unwavering support for the government’s visionary policies aimed at industrial transformation.
