Hon. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng MCE for NsawamAdoagyiri together with the Municipal Education Director of Nsawam Adoagiri, Mr. Samuel OtopahNtow and some selected staff of the NsawamAdoagyiri Municipal Assembly paid a working visit to children attending school for the first time dubbed “my first day at school” as well as to welcome continuing pupils back to school in the municipality.
The purpose of the visit was to interact and motivate first-time attendants to stay in school through the provision of appealing gifts to help sustain as well as boost their interest in schooling.
With the 25 selected schools visited the MCE, expressed his excitement towards the pupils readiness towards school. He also encouraged and assured school authorities and teachers to feel free to discharge their educational responsibilities adding that the assembly will continue to assist the GES to supply all necessary stationaries and logistics to enhance learning. The MCE then advised the pupils to take their learning seriously so they can become future leaders.
The Municipal Education Director, Mr. Samuel OtopahNtow thanked the school authorities for their efforts and advised them to adhere to Covid 19 protocols at all times to ensure the safety of all in the school environment.
The team then distributed Books and other stationeriesto the one thousand, one hundred and ninety two new entrants to basic one (1) and KG1.
