HON. PHILIBERT AMENORPE FUMEY (SELORM) – MCE, UNDERTAKES FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO SECURITY AGENCIES IN NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPALITY

Hon. Fummey Philibert Amenorpe (Selorm), the newly confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Nsawam Adoagyiri, commenced a familiarization tour of key security agencies within the municipality. He was accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo, and selected staff of the Assembly.

The tour formed part of the MCE’s early engagements aimed at formally introducing himself to heads of institutions, strengthening inter-agency collaboration, and gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by the security services. Agencies visited included the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Police Service.

During the visit, the security agencies expressed appreciation for the MCE’s proactive approach in reaching out and initiating direct engagement. They also shared pertinent operational concerns and logistical challenges that impact their effectiveness in safeguarding the municipality.

Hon. Fummey, in his remarks, thanked the leadership and personnel of the various agencies for their warm reception. He assured them of his readiness to collaborate closely and pledged to give due attention to the concerns raised.

“As the frontline institutions responsible for maintaining peace and order, your needs cannot be overlooked. We will work together to ensure a safer, more secure Nsawam Adoagyiri for all,” he emphasized.

The tour concluded on a positive note, reinforcing mutual commitment between the Assembly and the security services to deepen cooperation and promote a safe environment for residents and stakeholders across the municipality.
