NAMA STAFF WELFARE ASSOCIATION (NASWA) ORGANIZES “MEET YOUR CANDIDATE” SESSION

The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Staff Welfare Association (NASWA) recently completed a successful vetting process for various executive positions within the organization. In line with this, NASWA organized a “Meet Your Candidate” session, with Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo, the Municipal Coordinating Director, also serving as the Chairperson for the occasion, and Mr. Prince Akoto, the Speaker of NASWA and the Election Committee Chairman.

Following the recommendation of the NASWA Election Committee, duly approved by the management, the “Meet Your Candidate” session aimed to provide an opportunity for the electorate, consisting of NAMA staff members, to meet the successful candidates and gain an understanding of their vision statements and agendas for the future success of NASWA.

Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo, the MCD, advised the voters to focus on the candidates’ competence and dedication to the positions rather than making decisions solely based on appearances. Mr. Amoafo acknowledged that losses are inevitable in any election, urging voters not to be disheartened by potential outcomes.

Mr. Prince Akoto, serving as both the Speaker of NASWA and the Election Committee Chairman, assured all voters that the upcoming election would be conducted in a free and fair manner. He encouraged all eligible voters to attend the session and emphasized the importance of familiarizing themselves with the candidates’ manifestos, enabling them to make informed choices.

During the session, the candidates fielded questions from the electorate, responding splendidly and providing further insights into their plans and ideas for NASWA. The program took place earlier today, and the aspirants received enthusiastic support from their followers, who presented them with fans as they delivered their manifestos.

The NASWA election is scheduled to take place tomorrow, June 13th, 2023, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is a significant event that will shape the future leadership of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly Staff Welfare Association. All eligible voters are strongly encouraged to participate actively, carefully considering the manifestos and vision statements of the candidates before casting their votes.

Under the leadership of Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo and with the support of Mr. Prince Akoto, the “Meet Your Candidate” session successfully provided an open platform for NASWA members to engage with the aspiring candidates. The NASWA Election Committee, alongside the management of NAMA, remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent election, working towards the growth and development of NASWA for the benefit of its members and the organization as a whole.
