The Agriculture Department of the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly continued its drive to boost agricultural development with a sensitization and registration exercise in Asiwkrom on April 18, 2024. The event introduced farmers to the benefits of the “Planting for Food and Jobs” (PFJ) phase 2, encouraging them to sign up for the program.
Held at the community center, the exercise aimed to educate local farmers on how PFJ 2.0 could help increase crop yields, enhance food security, and create sustainable livelihoods. After the informative session, farmers were given the opportunity to register for the initiative on the same day, with officials on hand to guide them through the process.
