The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly on Wednesday, 17th December 2025, organized its maiden Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at the Assembly premises, bringing together staff members and invited guests to usher in the Christmas season.
The event served as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving as the year came to a close. Through the singing of well-known Christmas carols, participants expressed gratitude for the growth, progress, and achievements recorded by the municipality over the year.
Speaking at the event, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Philibert Fummey Amenope Selorm, described the service as a timely reminder of unity and appreciation, noting that it offered an opportunity to reflect on the year, celebrate progress, and reinforce the bonds that enable staff and stakeholders to work together in harmony.
The programme featured a blend of spiritual and cultural performances that captured the true meaning of Christmas and highlighted values such as peace, togetherness, and service. These performances created a joyful and uplifting atmosphere, bringing staff and guests closer in the spirit of the season.
Scripture readings formed an important part of the service, emphasizing the biblical message of Christmas, followed by prayers for peace, prosperity, and good health for the municipality and its people in the year ahead
Participants commended the Assembly for organizing the event, describing it as a refreshing and meaningful way to end the year while promoting unity and goodwill among staff and stakeholders.
