NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY INSPECTS FARMLANDS IN AKUFFOKROM AND KWAFOKROM

On January 16, 2024, the Agriculture Department of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly conducted its regular inspection of farmlands across the municipality, visiting the communities of Akuffokrom and Kwafokrom. The inspection covered a range of farms, including both vegetable and other crop farms, as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to support local agriculture.

Officials assessed the condition of various farms, looking at crop health, farming techniques, and the overall productivity of the land. Farmers received guidance on improving their yields, managing irrigation, and tackling common agricultural challenges such as pests and soil degradation.

“This inspection is crucial for ensuring that farmers across all sectors, from vegetable growers to those cultivating other crops, are following best practices and receiving the necessary support to increase production,” said a representative from the Agriculture Department.

The department plans to continue its inspection of farms in other communities within the Nsawam Adoagyiri municipality in the coming weeks, ensuring that all farmers benefit from expert advice and monitoring.
