The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), marked the 2024 edition of My First Day at School with visits to selected schools across the municipality.

On September 17, officials warmly welcomed young pupils beginning their educational journey, offering words of encouragement and support. As part of the initiative, the Assembly donated essential school supplies, including exercise books, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners, to help the children settle into their new learning environment.

The gesture underscores the Assembly’s commitment to promoting education and ensuring that every child starts school with the necessary resources. The event also served as an opportunity for stakeholders to interact with teachers and pupils, reinforcing the importance of early childhood education in shaping the future of young learners.
