06/10/2023 – In a heartwarming gesture of generosity, the Dora Anie Educational Foundation from Canada has officially handed over a new school block to the community of Kwakyekrom. The commissioning ceremony, which took place amidst jubilation, was graced by the presence of Hon. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nsawam Adoagyiri, along with the Director of Ghana Education Service and several esteemed Chiefs and dignitaries.
The newly inaugurated KG block is set to be a cornerstone for education in the community, providing a conducive learning environment for the youngest members of Kwakyekrom. The Foundation’s generous donation underscores their commitment to improving educational facilities in Ghana and fostering a brighter future for the nation’s youth.
During his speech at the commissioning event, MCE Hon. Isaac Kwadwo Buabeng thanked the Dora Anie Educational Foundation Canada for their tremendous generosity. He acknowledged that their contribution goes a long way in addressing the educational needs of the community and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for their support.
In addition to his words of appreciation, the MCE also pledged to further enhance the facility’s amenities by installing a mechanized borehole and providing additional furniture.
