The Eastern Regional Coordinating Council, in collaboration with the Regional and District Agriculture Departments, will host a five-day Eastern Commodity Satellite Market Fair to promote agribusiness in the region. The event will take place from September 2nd to 6th, 2024, at Apenteng Hall, Wesley Cathedral in Koforidua (EN-025-2119).

The fair, themed “Fostering Agribusiness Growth and Youth Development: The Role of the Eastern Commodity Satellite Market Fair,” aims to connect farmers, input dealers, and processors with new markets and opportunities. The Eastern Regional Minister, Hon. Seth Acheampong, will serve as the Special Guest of Honor, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting agricultural development.

Participants will have the chance to network, showcase their products and services, and learn about the latest trends and innovations in agribusiness. The event is expected to foster growth in the agricultural sector and encourage youth participation in agribusiness.
