In a move set to enhance road infrastructure within communities, Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly has received its much-anticipated consignment of the District Road Improvement Program (DRIP) equipment from the Central Government delivered by the supplier, Zoomlion Ltd.
A brief official handover ceremony took place at the Assembly’s premises where the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Emmanuel Owusu Arthur expressed his gratitude to Mr. Emmanuel Boamah, the representative from Zoomlion Ltd, for delivering the much-needed equipment. The equipment package includes a backhoe, a roller, two tipper trucks, a water tanker, and a Track & Wheel Loader.
During the ceremony, Hon. Emmanuel Owusu Arthur emphasized the importance of these new tools in improving the local road network. “We are incredibly thankful for this support,” he said. “These machines are a step in the right direction for our municipality. They will not only help in upgrading our roads but also, their routine maintenance is assured”.
The Hon MCE reiterated that the equipment will be utilized for its intended purposes only, to ensure their longevity. “Proper upkeep of these machines is crucial,” he added. “We are committed to using them to their fullest potential to enhance our road infrastructure for the benefit of the municipality.”
