The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Nsawam Adoagyiri, Hon. Philibert Selorm Fummey, today began a working visit to selected companies operating within the municipality, as part of efforts to deepen partnerships between the private sector and the Assembly.
Accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Jeremiah Agyekum Amoafo, and a team of senior staff from the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, the MCE visited E&H Quarry Co. Ltd, CK Quarry Co. Ltd, Maso Quarry Co. Ltd, and Lexsz Fibre Ghana Ltd.
The purpose of the visit was to engage directly with company leadership, gain firsthand insight into their operations, and better understand both their contributions to the local economy and the challenges they face.
During the interactions, company representatives expressed their appreciation for the Assembly’s outreach and pledged continued collaboration in areas such as employment, infrastructure support and social responsibility initiatives. They also took the opportunity to share pressing concerns ranging from access roads and regulatory challenges to community relations and logistical constraints.
In response, Hon. Fummey reassured them of the Assembly’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive. “We are ready to work hand in hand with you to address your concerns. A stronger partnership between the Assembly and the private sector is key to driving inclusive development for every resident,” he affirmed.
The industrial tour marks the beginning of a broader engagement strategy by the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly aimed at fostering public-private collaboration for sustainable economic growth.
