The Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly is set to launch its “Tree for Life” Initiative on Wednesday, June 5, 2025, at 8:00 AM at the Municipal Assembly Gardens. The initiative, originally launched as a national program by His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, will run in Nsawam Adoagyiri from June 5 to June 30, 2025.
The “Tree for Life” Initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability through tree planting and community participation. As part of the program, residents will have the opportunity to pick up free seedlings from the Department of Agriculture and are encouraged to plant them within their homes, communities, or designated areas.
NAMA calls on all citizens, institutions, and stakeholders within the municipality to participate actively in this green campaign. The Assembly believes that this collective effort will help combat climate change, beautify the environment, and secure a healthier future for generations to come.
Let’s join hands to green Nsawam Adoagyiri, one tree at a time.
For inquiries or seedling collection, please visit the Department of Agriculture at the Assembly premises.
