NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI PHYSICAL PLANNING DEPARTMENT INTERVENES IN LAND ENCROACHMENT DISPUTE AT AHODWO KETEWA

On July 24, 2024, The Physical Planning Department of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly (NAMA) conducted its routine site inspections across the municipality to address filed complaints and monitor ongoing development projects.

As part of the exercise, the team visited Ahodwo Ketewa to resolve a dispute over land encroachment. The visit aimed to assess the situation, engage the affected parties, and enforce planning regulations to ensure fair and legal land use.

Proper land documentation and obtaining the necessary permits before undertaking any construction are essential to preventing disputes and ensuring orderly development. Unauthorized developments can lead to conflicts and legal complications, making compliance with municipal guidelines crucial.

The Physical Planning Department continues to encourage residents to follow due process in acquiring land and resolving disputes through the appropriate municipal channels.
