On July 17, 2024, the Physical Planning Department of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly (NAMA) carried out its routine site inspections across the municipality to address filed complaints and monitor ongoing construction projects.
As part of the exercise, the team visited Yawgyan, where a dispute had been reported concerning a building project encroaching on another person’s frontage. The inspection aimed to assess the situation on-site and take the necessary steps to resolve the matter in accordance with municipal building regulations.
Following proper land-use planning guidelines is essential to prevent disputes and ensure orderly development. The Assembly remains committed to enforcing planning regulations to safeguard the interests of all stakeholders.
The Physical Planning Department continues to urge residents and developers to seek the necessary permits before undertaking construction projects to avoid conflicts and legal actions.
