FARMERS IN FOTOBI REGISTER FOR PFJ 2.0 AS NSAWAM ADOAGYIRI MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY PUSHES AGRICULTURAL GROWTH

On March 25, 2024, the Agriculture Department of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly continued its sensitization and registration campaign, this time targeting farmers in Fotobi. The event was part of the ongoing effort to introduce the second phase of the “Planting for Food and Jobs” (PFJ) initiative to communities in the municipality.

Local farmers gathered to learn about PFJ 2.0, a government-led program aimed at improving food security, increasing agricultural productivity, and creating job opportunities in the agricultural sector. After an information session, farmers were assisted by officials to register for the initiative on the same day.

A representative from the Agriculture Department emphasized the importance of engaging all farmers in the program. “Fotobi’s participation is crucial to the success of PFJ 2.0. We’re here to ensure every farmer understands the benefits and has access to the resources and support needed to thrive under this initiative.”

The registration campaign will continue across other communities in the Nsawam Adoagyiri municipality, as the assembly works to reach as many farmers as possible.
