Senior Management staff and officers of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Jasper Adenyo, today embarked on a revenue mobilization exercise at the Nsawam Market as part of the Assembly’s Management Day Out initiative.

The exercise formed part of the Assembly’s continuous efforts to enhance revenue collection, engage directly with traders and stakeholders within the business community, and sensitize them on the importance of timely payment of taxes and market tolls.

During the activity, management staff interacted with traders to address concerns regarding revenue collection, while emphasizing the critical role that local taxes play in supporting development projects within the municipality. Officers also educated market users on the need for voluntary compliance to ensure sustainable growth.

Speaking during the exercise, the Municipal Coordinating Director commended the Assembly staff for their commitment and called on traders to support the Assembly’s vision of building a self-reliant municipality.
“Development thrives when we all play our part. Timely payment of taxes and tolls allows the Assembly to provide better infrastructure, improve sanitation and deliver essential services,” he noted.

The Management Day Out initiative reflects the Assembly’s dedication to deepening community engagement, strengthening local revenue systems and promoting transparency and accountability in municipal governance.
